Give In Memory Of A Loved One

The Jallow Foundation, The Gambia, A Charity Set Up To Relieve Poverty, Help, Provide, Train, Educate, Provide Employment, Empower and Provide Essential Facilities and Equipment To Those In Need

GIVE A GIFT IN MEMORY OF A LOVED ONE

We have all at some time, in varying circumstances, lost a very much loved one and the hole that they leave in our lives is all too often, very, very large and very, very painful.

To therefore give a gift in memory of your special person in order to remember and commemorate their life, is something that can mean a great deal. Not only is it a way of remembering them but it is a way of giving a chance and hope to someone else in desperate need, when hope is more often than not been lost.

INSTEAD OF FLOWERS

Ask for donations instead of flowers. If you need any help with this then please contact us or alternatively your funeral director can contact us at: thejallowfoundationthegambia@yahoo.com

Please make any donations payable to:

SET UP A 'IN MEMORY' PAGE

To set up an 'In Memory' page means that not only can you keep the memory of your loved one alive but you can put photographs and messages on the page. You can also ask friends and family to donate securely on-line and fund-raise, thereby keeping the memory of your loved one alive. You can do this be setting up a page at 'Just Giving'.

If you want any help or advice in connection with this or any of our other 'In Memory' suggestions then please contact us and we will be happy to help.

LEAVE A GIFT IN YOUR WILL

A bequest in your will is a traditional form of giving to charity and is easy to do. It means that you can leave a gift to a charity that you care about, like ours, whilst still ensuring that your dependants are looked after. Bequests to charities are paid out before tax is deducted and can therefore reduce the amount of inheritance tax required to be paid from your estate.

If you have a lawyer or solicitor they can advise you as to how you can incorporate a bequest in your will or you can contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau. To make or amend a will you should contact a solicitor or a will making service. There are also Will Aid solicitors who at certain times will prepare basic wills in order to raise funds for charity. You can find a participating solicitor local to you by looking for the 'Will Aid' signs or by enquiring at your local Citizens Advice Bureau.

You Can Also Now Make Donations By Text.

Text 'JALL10' and the amount you want to donate, e.g £10, to 70070.

Easy As That! For More Information Please Watch The Video On The Links Page On This Website And/Or Go To Our Facebook Page.
